About Our Mission
At 1040Visions, we emphasize sharing the Gospel to unreached people groups that do not have the means of hearing about our Savior. “We are kingdom minded people and love being jumper cables for Jesus!”
OUR STORY
How 1040Visions Started
1040Visions was formed upon the return of several mission teams from Suffolk, Virginia who traveled to Burkina Faso. Known for being landlocked and poverty-stricken, West Africa lies within what is known as the 10/40 window. These teams worked alongside local pastors and lay-leaders serving in local communities and villages. They were involved in evangelizing, teaching, and serving the community through building projects and providing educational resources to the poor. It is said that once you have the “red dust of Africa” on your feet, it can never be washed away. We have found that to be true! Our hearts and lives have been forever changed by serving the Lord in their country.
OUR MISSION
1040Visions focuses on ministry work in locations of the world that does not have ready access to the Good News. We also help provide community development projects and educational access when able. Our heart burns for the lost and the ability to live out the Gospel.
Our mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus, mobilizing other to spread the Good News, no matter where He calls us.
OUR VALUES
We believe in the inherent truth of the Bible; that Jesus changed everything and can change anyone. He did it 2000 years ago and his life changing message is still relevant today. We take the Great Commission as a mandate, not an option.
95% of the funds our allocated to the field projects and ministry support. 1040Visions core values commits to 100% transparency.

HELP SHARE THE GOOD NEWS
The Great Commission Is Still Important Today
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! – Romans 10:14-15
